Running as engineering samples on the Computex 2025 floor, the demonstrated Panther Lake was a 16-core version, most likely featuring four P-cores, eight E-cores, and four LP-cores.
Earlier rumors suggest that the new architecture will combine Cougar Cove, Darkmont, and Skymont cores, all in a single package. In addition, Panther Lake will also use Intel Xe3 graphics, which is said to bring higher 3D and AI performance.
According to the slide from Wccftech.com, Panther Lake is expected to have performance similar to Arrow Lake-H with power efficiency similar to Lunar Lake, which could be an impressive combination. Intel is promising broad scalability, from consumer, to gaming and commercial. The same slide also confirms that it is on-track for production in H2 2025, with consumer-ready launch with OEMs beginning early 2026.
