Kingston releases FURY Renegade G5 M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen 5 SSD

Kingston has officially released its new FURY Renegade G5 PCIe Gen 5 SSD, coming in capacities of up to 4TB and reaching sequential read and write speeds of up to 14,800 and 14,000MB/s.

Based on the Silicon Motion SM2508 controller paired up with 3D TLC NAND, the Kingston FURY G5 uses DRAM cache. Kingston is launching Renegade G5 in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB versions, and it reaches sequential read and write performance of up to 14,800 and 14,000MB/s, respectively. The random 4K performance reaches 2.2M IOPS. Of course, the performance slightly varies depending on the capacity. You can check out the full performance details below.

"Between the power of Kingston FURY Renegade G5 SSD and Kingston FURY memory, high-power users and hardware enthusiasts can create their ultimate system."

The Kingston FURY G5 is backed by a five-year warranty, and has an endurance rating of 1PB, 2PB, and 4PB. Unfortunately, Kingston did not announce any detail regarding the price or the availability date.
