Swift is Acer’s lightweight line for people who want a laptop that won’t break their back or look like a gaming rig from 2008. It won’t take your frame rate to the moon like the Predator series, but it won’t leave you crying in a spreadsheet either.
There are five models, from the more pedestrian Swift Go 14 AI to the stylish Swift Edge 14 AI and beefier Swift X 14 AI. The Edge weighs just 0.99kg and still manages to squeeze in a 3K OLED panel, Intel Core Ultra 9 chip, up to 32GB RAM and 1TB storage, all wrapped in magnesium alloy.
For those wanting more oomph, the Swift X 14 AI throws in Nvidia’s RTX 5070 GPU with either AMD Ryzen AI 300 or Intel Ultra 9 brains, up to 32GB RAM and 2TB storage. Both the Edge and X14 get oversized haptic touchpads that work with a stylus, so it’s part laptop, part graphics tablet.
Looks-wise, the Edge comes in white with gold lettering, the X14 in a moody black. Pricing starts at £1399 / €1599 for the Edge, £1499 / €1799 for the X14, all landing in August 2025.
On the gaming front, the Predator line hasn’t been ignored. The Helios Neo 14 AI keeps things compact but powerful with a 14.5-inch 2.8K OLED, Intel Core Ultra 9 and RTX 5070 GPU. It’s not cheap, but it’s lighter than you’d expect.
Then there’s the Triton 14 AI, which tries to woo creatives with its toned-down grey shell and 17.31mm waistline. Still, it packs a 120Hz OLED display, Ultra 9 chip and RTX 5070. It’s basically Predator in a business suit.
The Helios Neo 14 AI will dent your wallet from £1799 / €1699. The Triton 14 AI will obliterate it at £2699 / €2999. This one will ship in July.
