Spotted ahead of Computex 2025 by ITHome, the compact Mini ITX board plonks its main PCIe 5.0 x16 slot on the back. That’s where your GPU would live, dangling out the rear like a party trick. One of the two M.2 SSD slots joins it round the back too.
It looks radical but Maxsun hasn’t embraced the whole cable-free utopia mantra that defines true BTF designs. The top side is still bristling with your usual mess of power connectors, USB headers and fan pins like nothing ever changed. They’ve even left a short PCIe x4 slot on top for low-profile add-ons.
At the moment, all we know of the Maxsun Terminator B850BKB WIFI comes from the short translated blurb and these teased images. Rooting through the firm’s official product pages, we see only the next-size-up Terminator B850M WIFI, which doesn’t seem to feature any back-connector shenanigans.
If Maxsun has cracked a clever layout without needing to sacrifice half your ports or burn your knuckles, it could be onto something.
