Samsung Galaxy S26 to land in January

by on10 November 2025

Last-minute shakeups won’t derail the launch

Despite chatter about delays due to internal reshuffles, Samsung is pushing ahead with its Galaxy S26 series.

According to ChosunBiz, the company will unveil the lineup in late January 2026, with a full release pencilled in for February.

A Samsung insider told the publication that hardware verification was extended after the company ditched the Galaxy S26 Edge in favour of the S26+. Now it seems the schedule is back on track, and the Unpacked event should go ahead as usual.

The new Exynos 2600 chip, Samsung’s first on a 2nm process, will feature in the Galaxy S26 and S26+. The Galaxy S26 Ultra, however, will launch globally with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

The Exynos 2600 is built by Samsung Foundry and designed by its System LSI division. It’s tipped to include a more powerful GPU and better sustained performance, thanks to offloading the 5G modem to a separate chip.

Early whispers suggest the chip’s performance will rival that of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Dimensity 9500, and A19 Pro.

“The issue was quickly resolved, making the February launch time frame possible,” the unnamed source said.
